Moss Vale Community Garden Incorporated invites you to our Good Loaf Day on Feb 18th, 2012.

Norbert Elberich, experienced home bread baker, will be guiding us through the easy process of creating a delicious, sustaining wholemeal loaf of bread. We will be baking in our wood-fired oven. Participants get to take home a loaf ready for baking. Bring a large towel and bowl (& apron if desired).

WHEN: 9am till 5pm, Saturday 18th February, 2012
COST: $35 - M/tea & pizza lunch provided

Moss Vale Show 2011 Winners
For several years the community garden has been entering produce in the local show. It is a great event to support and good fun to check out all the other exhibits in the pavilion. The traditional arena events and farm animal exhibits are also entertaining along with the sideshow rides, if that is your bent.

We sponsored two categories in this year's Show: Vegetables - 18 years and under
Fruit - 18 years and under

In March, Moss Vale Community Garden entered over twenty vegetable & fruit items in the produce section for judging. We were delighted to find that we had been successful in 11 categories. Five first place ribbons, four seconds and two thirds. This pips our total for last year's show winnings of nine prizes. We were very pleased with ourselves indeed.
